These latest experiments went something like this:
1) Original recording is in QT H264
2) Export from QT pro as NTSC AVI (with audio volume adjusted)
3) Edit, adjust, add watermark in Virtual Dub.
4) Export from Virtual Dub as MS-MPEG4 V2, Key every 150, 90% crisp, Data 3000. Audio @ 48kbs MP3
