02.28.05 Two shows this week! March 2nd March 4th Maybe I'll see you there! 02.23.05 Added some clips from the January 22nd Techgnosis party. Only four clips for now, maybe more at some point. ( it was a two hour set after all ) You can check them out here.
02.10.05 Last night I went and saw Thelma Schoonmaker at the Museum of History & Industry . She gave an editing workshop and discussed her life’s work (there was also a screening of “Raging Bull”). I really didn’t know much about her. But I thought, “editing workshop?”, “someone talking about their art?”, I’m there! Needless to say, listening to a living legend, and someone who is completely at the top of their field, was awesome. It was especially cool because she is up for an Academy Award for her editing on “The Aviator”.
02.09.05 Uploaded a new film to the short films section, “SUPERMANmix1”. Someday I may do a proper VJ mix of all the Superman clips, but for now, here’s a little movie for you to enjoy - scobot style!
02.04.05 Sent “That’s One Hog Too Many” off to the Jilted Film Festival for movies rejected by other film festivals (in our case, SXSW 2005). So we’ll see…will "One Hog" be a big festival looser or will it be shown in New York City? Stay tuned. Just one gripe, and I promise not to turn this page into a gripe fest but, I hate “free” software that scans your system, finds a bunch of stuff (or in my case ONE thing) and then says “to remove this spyware, please purchase Spyware Doctor". Just tell me it’s $29.00 up front and I might buy it. Needless to say, Spyware Doctor has been “uninstalled”.
02.03.05 Updated the scottland page with a handy-dandy monthly blab archive. This way you can visit your favorite month without having to scroll through one LONG post. Nifty eh?
02.01.05 Hey I won some free shoes from Converse! I'm not sure for which film, but I think it was for Star Shoe. Anyway, they look great and actually fit! ( Though Georgie doesn’t look too impressed. )
