I was just asked to compete in the Opticlash "VJ BATTLE IN SEATTLE" on August 20th, 2005. Check out the site for more info. It should be a very cool event. It was an honor to be asked to participate and I'm really looking forward to it. Hope to see you there!

Another day, another clip posted. This one is called "Toil" for lack of a better name and is from the TESLA show - I may put one more up, to give me an even FOUR clips from the show...or not. I'm kind of excited to get to the "Miami Vice" clips!

Another clip from the TESLA show is up. This one I decided to name: “Atomic Egg Dream” – just seemed to fit and heck, why not name it? Hope you like it.

Ok, I posted the first clip from the 06.05.05 TESLA show. It's short, but there will be more to follow!

Hey were have I been? Where’s the new content? Well, I’ve been working on my portfolio as well as constructing a “VJ-ing” demo to help explain to people what I am doing. I think you all would agree, that it’s hard to grasp the “live” nature of these clips when you are just viewing them off of the web – a lot of people just think it’s an edited piece. So, I’m working on a little demo of that. Just being helpful!

Also, I’ve been assembling clips from the last couple of shows and I think I will just start posting them. I was waiting until I had a row of FOUR new clips so as not to ruin the aesthetic of the INDEX page, but think I will now just post them as I go, otherwise, who knows how long it will take to get them up. So…keep checking back! There should be a nice steady stream of new clips. I’ll just keep chipping away at it.

I just watched a GREAT documentary on the art of FILM EDITING called “The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing”. It is excellent. Why it is on disc two of the Steve McQueen special edition of “Bullitt", I’m not sure, as it barely mentions “Bullitt” at all. But it is well worth getting the DVD just for this documentary – it’s 90 min long – with interviews with all of the major film editors and directors in Hollywood and covers the entire history of film editing all the way up to “Attack of the Clones”. I’ve got many new films on my “to check out list” – mainly old Russian film makers, if they had had VJ software…holy cow! Anyway, if you are interested, it is definitely worth getting (and the car chase in “Bullitt” is still pretty cool – and the movie is not as boring as I remembered. Lol)

Well, a new month already! June went by way too fast, but considering I had two major shows to create content for (The Tesla show, and the Miami Vice show) in adition to redesigning my website...I can see why!

The show at the See Sound Lounge went really well. As expected, the music by DjMb and Carlos da Silva was great, and I had many nice compliments on my visuals (must have been the swimsuit models!). Now I have 4 hours of footage to widdle down to web friendly morsels so you can check it out. That might take me a bit, seeing as I'm now behind by TWO shows (The Kelli Hanson show, and the Tesla gig) that I need to post. So keep checking back!
